A Wonderful Dining Experience in Concord, New Hampshire
Concord New Hampshire has several outstanding restaurants, this city has an ethnic mix consisting primarily of Greek, French, Canadian, Latin American, Irish, Jewish, and Italian nationalities. It was on Water Street in Downtown Concord where we found The Common Man.

The Common Man Restaurants of New Hampshire started in 1971 in Ashland…. and have been growing ever since. There are now five scattered about this great state. We choose the Concord Common Man for our dinning experience.
Appetizers and salad are wonderful at the Common Man. The Lobster Corn Chowder was flavorful and the Baked Onion Soup quite hearty and delicious. Try there wonderful salad combinations and the Roasted Tomato and Spinach dip this was enthusiasticlly enjoyed.
The Common Man features many comfort food items such as Meat Loaf, Cannelloni, Baked Mac & Cheese, Prime Rib, Shellfish Stew and Spare Ribs. They also serve more specialized items, Mixed Grill, Slow Roasted Duck, Rack of Lamb, and many cut of steak and fish. Wine suggestions for every entree are listed on the menu.
The end of every meal is celebrated with White Chocolate delivered to your table. This is a house specialty or a tradition at the Common Man. However, you look at it, incredible. Try the Baked Apples and the creamy style Crème Brule both worth the calories.
The staff was friendly, the atmosphere casual and relaxed. The large fireplace was inviting, The Common Man replicates an 1800 farmhouse and it works. Moderate to high prices, good portions, well worth the trip. Other Common Man Restaurants are located in Lincoln, Ashland, Merrimack, and Windham.
