Indian Stream – Pittsburg, NH Foliage Tour:

Take Rte. US Route 3 from Whitefield to Pittsburg. This is major road but the scenery north of King’s Square in downtown Whitefield to the Canada / US border  is amazing. The drive will take you through downtown Lancaster, NH. US Route 3 follows the Connecticut River north from Lancaster to Colebrook and then on to Pittsburg. Picturesque views all year. Peak color views usually late Sept to mid October. Find lodging and dining gems in Pittsburg. Views of Connecticut Lakes, Magalloway Mountain.

Berlin, NH Area Foliage Tour:

Take Rte. 16 in Pinkham Notch to Berlin to Rte. 110N in Groveton to Rte. 3S in Lancaster to Rte. 2 in Gorham. This drive includes some great views of the northern Presidential Mountains.

Colebrook, NH Area Foliage Tour:

Take Rte. 145 from Colebrook to Pittsburg. Look for the roadside waterfall on the right hand side of the road on the way to Pittsburg. Then take Rte. 3 to the Canadian border. This stretch offers a spectacular view of the fall colors in the northern reaches of New Hampshire. Rte. 26 through Dixville Notch also includes a great show of fall colors.
