The State of New Hampshire controls the liquor sales in the Granite State. While beer and wine may be purchased at supermarkets and convenience stores, hard liquor is only available at New Hampshire State Liquor Stores. This means that mixes for drinks sold in supermarkets will not contain the hard liquor. Many people from out of state take the opportunity while visiting New Hampshire to buy the discounted liquor.
