New Hampshire is full of history. It was inhabited by Native Americans for centuries before the Europeans came along. It was one of the thirteen original colonies and the 9th state to to ratify the Constitution.
New Hampshire's unique geography has afforded it a wonderful diversity. The seacost area helped to bring business to New Hampshire from all over the world helping New Hampshire to flourish. The majority of rivers and streams however flowed from north to south giving New Hampshire close ties with Boston early on.
New Hampshire's natural landscape has been enjoyed locals and visitors alike for generations now. Starting off as farm land and logging operations New Hampshire's beautiful mountain scenery quickly attracted people from all walks of life to visit and enjoy.
