The New Hampshire White Mountain Region includes thousands of acres of protected forests. The White Mountain National Forest is located in much of this region. Franconia State Park is also found here. There are trout rivers, backwoods trout ponds and many streams and lakes. The Mt. Washington Valley and Kancamagus Highway are located here. Bedell Bridge in Haverhill, NH features a nice boat launch on the Connecticut river.
