A nice sandy beach on the shores of Lake Winnipisaukee where the big lake empties into Paugus Bay. The Indians onced fished this channel and caught salmon here. Massachusetts Bay Colony Governor John Endicott commissioned surveyors here in 1652. You can view their signatures on Endicott Rock. An admission is charged. A great place for boat watching, sunbathing and swimming.

This NH state park offers 600 feet of sandy beach on the state's largest lake, Winnipesaukee. There are picnicking areas, a bathhouse with restrooms, and lifeguards on duty. The campground here is only for RVs. There are more than 35 camp sites available.

A half mile of sandy beach on pristine Newfound Lake offers some of the state's nicest swimming. Lifeguards are on duty. Bathhouses, restrooms, and a store are all available, and there is a picnic area in a pine grove along with some nice hiking trails. Wellington also provides a boat launch. The park is open 9 AM to 7 PM every day during the summer.

This small park offers very nice swimming, with a gradual drop off that lets even little kids walk "wayout." The beach is mostly sandy, with picnic tables on th grass close enough to watch the kids from. Lifeguards and a bathhouse with restrooms are provided.
