St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts provides a wide variety of cultural events for the enrichment of residents and tourists in the Androscoggn Valley. The St. Kieran Community Arts Center was opened in 2000 after the former St. Kieran Church was closed.
The building is a beautifully preserved example of late nineteenth century architecture. It is complete with a pipe organ purchased in 1898, and remains in good condition to this day. The church's baroque-style interior seats about four hundred and is enhanced by particularly fine acoustics.
Regular events have been held here since the Arts Center was first opened in November 2000, and an active future is foreseen as St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts fulfills its role as a venue for performing arts in northern New Hampshire.
