Mount Monadnock State Park

Mt. Monadnock, a National Natural Landmark, is 5,000 acres of protected highlan ds, 40 miles of foot trails, and 100-mile views of all six New England states. Monadnock is possibly the second most frequently climbed mountain in the world. The Monadnock Visitor Center contains exhibits on the park's history, trails, and ecology.
Monadnock State Park is located off Rt. 124 in Jaffery, NH. Park activities include: camping, hiking, and picknicking. There is a campground with showers, picnic table, and visitor's center. A fee is charged for camping. The park is open year round. Call 603-532-8862 for more information.
